Bucks 103, Mavericks 99
Brandon Jennings finished with 23 points and 10 assists and Andrew Bogut went off for 21 points and 14 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks ended the Dallas Mavericks’ 12-game winning streak with a 103-99 victory on Monday.
Keyon Dooling and Chris Douglas-Roberts combined for 30 points off the bench for the Bucks, who have won three straight and four of five.
The Mavericks led 52-43 at the half before Milwaukee came storming back in the third quarter. Jennings scored seven straight points to kick off a 14-5 spurt that gave the Bucks a 64-63 lead. Dallas pulled it together to take a 72-67 edge but Milwaukee came back to take a one-point lead heading into the fourth.
The Bucks trailed by five points midway through the final quarter before taking off again with a 14-0 burst capped by Ersan Ilyasova’s 3-pointer with 3:32 remaining. Dallas had a chance to tie it with 11 seconds left but Dirk Nowitzki missed a short jumper and Jennings got the rebound.
Nowitzki finished with 30 points for the Mavericks.
