Clippers 113, Timberwolves 90
Eric Gordon had 36 points and Blake Griffin and Ryan Gomes each had 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Los Angeles Clippers earned a 113-90 victory over the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night at Staples Center.
Los Angeles (8-21) has won a season-high three in a row and this was the most lopsided win yet.
Gordon scored 21 of his points in the first half. Griffin also had seven assists and the Clippers outrebounded the Timberwolves 56-33.
The Timberwolves (6-23) dropped to 1-17 on the road and lost their sixth in a row overall, all on the road. Dating to last season, Minnesota is a putrid 1-29 in road games, but returns to Target Center to host Utah on Wednesday.
Michael Beasley scored 20 for Minnesota and reserve Martell Webster had 18. Kevin Love managed his 15th consecutive double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. He leads the NBA with 24.
