Paul Millsap scored seven of his 23 points in the final 2 1-2 minutes Wednesday night as the Utah Jazz used a big fourth quarter to surge past the host Minnesota Timberwolves, 112-107.

Deron Williams had 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists and former Timberwolf Al Jefferson added 23 points for the Jazz, who have won three straight games.

Minnesota jumped ahead in the first quarter, grabbing a nine-point lead and pushing it to 56-45 at the half when Kevin Love followed in Corey Brewer’s miss as time expired. Love had 13 points at the break, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Utah trailed, 83-71, heading into the fourth quarter but quickly shifted the momentum in its favor with a 10-4 burst.

The Jazz fought all the way back to tie it at 101-101 on Millsap’s three-point play with 1:58 left and traded baskets until Millsap did it again, converting another three-point play to give Utah a 108-107 edge with 33 seconds remaining.

Love collected 25 points and 19 rebounds and Michael Beasley added 24 and 10 for the Timberwolves, who surrendered 41 points in the fourth quarter in dropping their seventh straight game.
