JAZZ 103, KINGS 102: Al Jefferson tipped in a floater by Devin Harris with one second left as the visiting Utah Jazz earned their fifth consecutive victory, holding off Sacramento.

Jefferson led the Jazz (25-22) with 26 points and seven rebounds. He had been kept quiet in the fourth quarter until the final two minutes.

The Kings (17-30), completing a nine-game homestand, saw their three-game winning streak end.

Led by Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings went on a 10-1 run and tied the score at 91. Evans gave the Kings their first lead since the first quarter at 92-91with 6:25 remaining.

The game stayed tight throughout the fourth, and Jefferson finally scored his first points of the quarter, tying the score at 97 with 1:36 remaining.

Harris made it 99-97 on a jumper with 1:06 to go. After two Kings misses, Marcus Thornton nailed a 25-footer with 27 seconds but Alex Burks put the Jazz up 101-100 with a layup then Thornton answered again with his own layup, but Jefferson got the final tip-in and a Jazz victory.

Evans again came off the bench as John Salmons stayed in the starting lineup and scored a team-high 25 points.

Cousins had 22 points and 18 rebounds, but was just 9 of 28 from the field. Jason Thompson had 19 points and 13 rebounds. Thornton scored 16.

Gordon Hayward had 18 points and seven rebounds for Utah. Derrick Favors had 12 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. Harris scored 14.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Terrence Williams, signed to a 10-day contract Wednesday by the Kings, did not dress for the game. … The Kings had 70 points in the paints, their fifth consecutive game with at least 50. … Sacramento outrebounded Utah 55-45.
