BUCKS 95, BOBCATS 90: Monta Ellis scored 25 points and host Milwaukee held off pesky Charlotte for its third straight victory.
Brandon Jennings added 18 points and nine assists, and Ersan Ilyasova had 12 points and 15 rebounds as the Bucks sent the Bobcats to their 10th consecutive defeat.
Mike Dunleavy scored 15 points off the bench for Milwaukee, which moved within one game of the New York Knicks for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Byron Mullens led five players in double figures with a career-high 31 points and 14 rebounds for the Bobcats, who fell to a league-worst 7-46.
The Bucks led by 10 points with 8 1/2 minutes to play before Mullens hit a 3-pointer to spark a 13-2 run that put Charlotte in front 84-83 with 3:40 left.
Ellis and Jennings scored four points each in an 8-0 spurt to restore the lead back to 91-84 and help the Bucks secure their 13th win in 14 home meetings with the Bobcats.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Mullen and Bismack Biyombo each registered their fifth double-doubles of the season. Biyombo had 14 points and 14 points to help Charlotte to a 57-45 edge on the glass. ... Bucks C Drew Gooden sat out his second straight game with an ailing back. ... Bobcats PG D.J. Augustin also missed the game after aggravating a knee injury in Wednesday's loss to Atlanta.
