Maple Leafs 4, Bruins 3
Mikhail Grabovski scored his second goal of the game with 61 seconds remaining in the third period, snapping a tie and lifting the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 4-3 road victory over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday.
All-Star Phil Kessel tallied twice on the power play, Joffrey Lupul collected two assists and rookie James Reimer made 32 saves for the Maple Leafs, who halted a six-game losing streak at TD Garden.
Grabovski gained possession in his own zone and raced up the ice before encountering a pair of defenders. Moving into the left faceoff circle, Grabovski lifted a shot that beat All-Star Tim Thomas to the short side for his 24th goal of the season.
Daniel Paille and former Bruin Kessel traded first-period goals, with Kessel ending his 14-game drought during a power play for his 20th of the season. Grabovski and Gregory Campbell netted second-period tallies and Patrice Bergeron scored nine minutes into the third for his 10th point in as many contests before Kessel knotted the game at 3-3 with 6 1/2 minutes to play.
Thomas stopped 24 shots for the Bruins, who have lost three in a row and four of five.
