Panthers 3, Lightning 2 (SO)

Mike Santorelli scored the only goal in the shootout after netting the game-tying goal with three minutes remaining in regulation to lead the visiting Florida Panthers to a 3-2 comeback win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.

David Booth also scored and Scott Clemmensen turned aside 31 shots for the Panthers, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron opened the scoring at 4:45 of the first period with a booming slap shot from the top of the circle.

Booth tied the game 26 seconds into the second session on the power play with his 17th of the season from defenseman Dennis Wideman and Stephen Weiss.

Sean Bergenheim banged in a rebound from the top of the crease just 14 seconds into the third period for his 12th goal of the season to give Tampa Bay a 2-1 lead.

Santorelli answer with a power-play goal to knot things up late in regulation.

Dan Ellis made 23 saves in the loss.
