Maple Leafs 5, Canadiens 4
Phil Kessel collected two goals and two assists and Tyler Bozak scored twice and set up another to lead the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs to a 5-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.
Defenseman Brett Lebda also scored and rookie James Reimer made 31 saves for Toronto, which improved to 4-0-1 in its last five games.
Bozak snapped a 3-3 tie at 8:30 of the second period on the power play and added his 10th of the season just 4:26 in the third.
After Jeff Halpern deflected defenseman Roman Hamrlik's point shot to give Montreal a 1-0 lead in the first period, the Leafs stormed back with three goals in just over five minutes before the intermission.
Kessel scored two power-play markers and Lebda netted his first of the season, sending Alex Auld to the bench after making just six saves. All-Star Carey Price came on in relief and made 16 saves.
Montreal tied the game in the second with power-play goals from Mike Cammalleri and defenseman James Wisniewski before Bozak restored the two-goal lead.
Max Pacioretty recorded his 11th of the campaign with 2:37 remaining to pull Montreal within a goal.
