Stars 3, Ducks 1

Loui Eriksson scored a pair of goals and set up another as the Dallas Stars extended their winning streak to five games with a 3-1 road triumph over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday.

Mike Ribeiro also tallied, Jamie Benn notched two assists and Kari Lehtonen made 35 saves to improve to 6-0-0 for Dallas, which is 3-0-2 in its last five meetings with Anaheim.

Eriksson opened the scoring just 13 seconds into the contest. After Steve Ott dumped the puck into the Ducks' zone, Eriksson unleashed a backhander from below the right faceoff circle that found its way past Jonas Hiller for his fourth goal of the season.

Corey Perry got Anaheim within 2-1 with one-tenth of a second remaining in the middle session, but Eriksson restored the Stars' two-goal lead at 1:42 of the third with his fifth tally in as many games.

Hiller stopped 16 shots for the Ducks, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.
