Stars 1, Ducks 0
Kari Lehtonen turned aside 26 shots for his first shutout of the season and the Dallas Stars halted a five-game losing streak with a 1-0 victory over the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.
Defenseman Alex Goligoski provided Lehtonen with the only goal he would need late in the first period as Dallas snapped Anaheim's five-game winning streak.
Lehtonen ended a personal four-game skid by registering his 18th career shutout and first since blanking Columbus on April 5, 2011.
Goligoski, signed to a four-year, $18.4 million contract extension Monday, took a drop feed from Mike Ribeiro and banked a shot off Cam Fowler and past Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller at 16:41 of the opening period.
Despite losing for only the second time in the last 10 games (8-1-1), Anaheim remained tied for the fewest road wins in the league with five.
Ribeiro was making his first appearance after sitting out the previous seven games with a knee injury.
