How the values work
How does the trade analyzer value a player?
Each player's value is his projected rest-of-season fantasy points above the replacement player at his position: the best player you could expect to find on waivers in a league of your size. That is why a top running back is worth more than a quarterback with the same raw total.
Where do the projections come from?
eDraft's own weekly projection for each player, carried over his remaining schedule and adjusted for how much every opponent gives up to his position. Bye weeks count as zero.
Does it consider my roster needs?
Not yet. Treat the verdict as the neutral, points-based read; a two-for-one that frees a bench spot or fills a hole you can't otherwise fill can be worth taking at a small deficit.
