Maple Leafs at Senators

THE STORY: The Ottawa Senators will look to continue their dominance in the Battle of Ontario when they play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. The Senators have won three of the first four meetings of the season series. Ottawa has a pair of wins in Toronto, including the last meeting on Jan. 17 when it skated to a 3-2 victory. Kyle Turris scored the game-winning goal early in the third period while All-Stars Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson also scored. Craig Anderson made 37 saves for the win. Matthew Lombardi and All-Star Joffrey Lupul replied for Toronto, who received 18 saves from James Reimer.

ABOUT THE MAPLE LEAFS (26-19-6): Toronto, which is 5-4-1 in its last 10 games, is coming off a 1-0 win in the back end of a home-and-home series with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Maple Leafs earned three of a possible four points against Pittsburgh. Clarke MacArthur scored the lone goal in the third period and Reimer made 25 saves for his second shutout of the season and fifth of his young career. It was just his second start of 2012. Previously, the Penguins rallied from a three-goal third-period deficit to post a 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs in a shootout. Mikhail Grabovski had two goals and an assist in the loss, while Jonas Gustavsson made 31 saves.

ABOUT THE SENATORS (27-20-7): Ottawa, which is 4-5-1 in its last 10 games, is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss at home to the New York Islanders on Friday. Zack Smith scored his 13th goal of the season on a shorthanded effort in the waning seconds of the second period. Anderson made 30 saves for the Senators, who have dropped five straight games (0-4-1). Despite the struggles, All-Star defenseman Erik Karlsson has three goals and 10 assists over his last 14 games. Ottawa is 14-9-2 on home ice this season.

OVERTIME:

1. MacArthur has four goals in his last three games for the Maple Leafs.

2. Karlsson has five assists in the four games against Toronto this season. Alfredsson has three goals and an assist in three games. Phil Kessel leads the offense for Toronto with three goals and three assists, while Lupul has collected three goals and two helpers.
